I'm going to purchase a 15K RPM Cheetah hard drive (SCSI oviously) and I want to know what's an affordable SCSI controller for SCSI320? I need an internal one but by the looks of some that I've seen, it looks like a PCI card but doesn't look as if it would fit inside any motherboard. Any suggestions/comments/feedback/support?

(I poseted this in device drivers first but I guess it was the wrong topic)

Yes, scsi 320 controllers usually come as pci-x cards (64 bit pci bus used in servers).

Don't know if you can get 320 controllers for PCI (they would be useless since PCI bus itself is slow).

I wouldn't worry too much about getting a max spec controller. If you have only one drive then you are fine with scsi 160 or even slower controller since one drive cannot fill that bandwidth.
