I recenty found out from documentation that I need to add / use sddr ram, after I purchased DDR ram, Wheather it is SDDR or not I am not sure? The ram I purchased was the ram which the store recomened whan I purchased the computer and ram togeather. How can you read the difference when purchassing the memory? Could the Ram I purchased be SDDR, it only states that it is DDR.

I also must install a larger power supply, to add a new video card, are all power supplies today compatable with AMD, and Intell? The one I purchased is Antec 480 True Blue, My system is AMD Sempron 3200X socket 939. Are they compatable? Thanks

So many web sites that sell a product do not even list a match for the system used or documentation for the components in a store bought computer. And what ever happened to people at the other end of a phone?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Look HERE for an explanation on ddr sdram.

Your psu will be just fine with your system.
