(I posted this in the "anyone explain raid" special thread and it looks like it would get much attention so I've decided to post here, sorry if this is illegal :( )

I currently have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA 1.5Gb/s 160GB HDD. I'm thinking about getting another drive and setting up a RAID 0. My question is, do I have to get another 7200.7 or will a 7200.9 (at 3.0Gb/s, everything else is the same I believe) work too?
    Thanks in advance.

You can use different drives for RAID. The performance will be limited by the worst device of course.
