Send to Desktop as shortcut broken?

    I have rarely ever used this function and I'm not even sure I've ever used it in XP but I tried to use it this morning to find that it doesn't work. I had to create a shortcut, then cut-n-paste it to the desktop, anyway, it's not a big deal. I just want to know how to fix it, or if it is even supposed to work in XP.

    Yes it is supposed to work in XP, why else would it be there in the first place?

    And hmmm, I've never heard of that before.

    Well, I found a fix for it, it seems that it is a common problem in XP and the fix can be found at dougknox.com.
