Helping a friend fix his pyuter:

He turned on his computer, and immediately got:

    BCCode : ea BCP1 : FFB9D9A0 BCP2 : 80D4CF20 BCP3 : 80E52410
    BCP4 : 00000001 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1

then, a few days later at about after the computer had been on for about an hour or so, but w/o any action taken on his part and the screen saver not showing this error signature appeared as soon as he wiggled the mouse for his desktop with the notice of a “serious Error recovery”

    BCCode : ea BCP1 : FFB9D9A0 BCP2 : 80D4CF20 BCP3 : 80E52410
    BCP4 : 00000001 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1

OK, now here is the bad news. His computer is:

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1
    Intel Pentium processor (333MHz)
    128 MB ram
    Graphic card: Velocity 128

    Thanks in advance!

Did you run a compatability test from the win xp disk before installing ?
Sounds like hardware problems to me.
