Should I replace the whole LCD screen or only the screen digitizer in Huawei Ascend G740

Hi, my mobile has the screen cracked, but it works perfectly, looks like only the outmost layer of the screen is cracked. I wonder if I could replace only the outer layer, is this the screen digitizer?. I have a youtube video about lcd screen change and the tools.

Should I buy the original or one of those Chinese ebay options is OK?

Buying the original is always safe. Trust it than buying the ones that are not worth the price and the quality of the original one.

If you buy only the digitizer then it would be lesser than buying the whole LCD screen. You could also ask a technician about this. They are eager to give answers.
