Should i spend an extra 10 or so dollars on the mx518

do i really need to spend the extra cash from a mx510 which i plan on getting for the mx 518 i mean how exactly do u change sensitivity on the fly and will i need to do so for hardcore fps and stratagy games thanx guys

I don't you need to. Most games only require a basic scroll mouse.

You can usually make adjustments in-game using "Options" or similar menu.

Why not, with 1600dpi, it is supposed to be the best gaming mouse on the market.
