I was thinking about setting up a sweet shuttle gaming system, ideal for LANs.

I was wondering... if I strapped a 9800 Pro and a Audigy 2 into this shuttle, equiped with a 3.0GHz/3000+ proc with 512MB or 1GB RAM, and upgraded the exhaust fan to a really fast one, do you think that 220W/200W PSU will hold off?

Actually, I beleive many of those shuttle systems have been setup in that exact configuration, or with at least 5900 Ultra. I've never seen anything about the PSU not handling the load.

Well for example, here's a review of the Shuttle SN85G4.

It's only using a 240w PSU & to review it a RADEON 9700 Pro was installed. No mention of a PSU change was made so I take it they used the one that came pre-installed with the system.

You might end up having more problems with the lack of space rather then the PSU.
