    Ok, when I downloaded Silent hill 4 demo, the cut scenes ran kinda...slower. I figured it was just the game, but when I tried it on my friends xbox, it ran really really smoothly. Now my computer is decent and can run lots of pre 2005 games on Max settings no problem. But it almost seems like there is a FPS limiter in the demo version. Does anyone have the full version and see normal smooth results?

    win xp pro sp 2
    2gb 3200
    x800xt PE 256mb
    AMD64 Athalon 3000+ venice

    That 3k CPU could be what's holding you back. Nice parts, (other than the cpu).


    Time for an upgrade, that CPU goes for $127 now

    Wich should last you a few years. Because it's duel-core.

    That cpu is not the problem, it's more then enough to play in-game cut scenes.
