Sims 2 on Windows 10

For some god damn reason windows 10 wont let me install sims 2 or any of the expansion pack, just says "insert disc 1" and ive already inserted the blooming disc, im not sharp with computers, if anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful,

Go manually into your DVD drive and look for setup.exe folder of your DVD of Sims and run the setup.exe from there. You can't just pop in the DVD and expect it to work. Let me know how this goes.

If you have old PC there can be some issues.
Is this disc a new one?
