Hi, i recently installed windows vista but was disappointed to find that SiS hadn't release a driver for it yet. I was wondering if i needed the SIS agp driver or if i could get any one..
I just wanted to know if i could one that isn't SiS it and it wouldn't harm my computer. I have the Ati driver already installed, but the AGP driver is something to do with my motherboard.
Well, I narrowed it down to a search using 'Vista AGP SiS 748 963' and found 1 other mobo using that combination. You don't even get a hit for PC Chips if you use Vista tho - lol.
And what I pointed out was that there is 1 other company using that chipset if you search who MIGHT have a Vista driver (doubtful) and if that wasn't available then you are sol (in layman's terms, NO, afaik chipset drivers are chipset specific).
