Skype problem

Hello,

I am currently experiencing problems with my mobile app of Skype on my HTC Desire 500. Even when the app is turned on the device, I don't get notifications when someone is writing me. I have to open the app itself in order to see there is a notification. Any idea what could be the reason?

Sounds like potentially an App notification setting? Have you checked your settings under Apps, and Notifications to see if Skype if being muted or blocked? I'd start there.

Thanks for the advice, Coodu. I have checked this setting and Skype is not muted.
