That card is PCI-e not PCI.

My GTX 470s can max 99% of games. Huge improvement over any PCI card.

Playing BFBC2 @ 60 FPS max settings 8xAA is an awesome experience. It still amazes me and I'm almost 50 in the game. This game will NOT run on PCI unless you want a literal slide show or make it hella ugly to look like PS1 @ the lowest settings.

This thread started in June 2006. PCI card was still acceptable to play games from those period.

I am sorry to say there is no way to play any current games with a PCI card no matter how powerful it is.

I am sure in the next four years (or less), my two MSI HD5870 Crossfire will be outdated / slowed as well (and same as my i7 870 system).

    i give it a year

the cards will be out powered by this time next year prob by the seven series if not already out matched by dual 6990's (i think they are), that i7 is already out matched and by the end of this year will be much further down the list, but yeah i agree with u that PCI is beyond pointless anymore.

PCI is not an acceptable option nowadays, but when it was my old geforce 6600 was great. Played Half life 2 and CS:S and tons of games
