    Hey everyone.

It's been a long time since I followed the Sound card market. The card I have in my machine is a Soundblaster Live! Value from 1999. It's old, and it's starting to wear. I'd like to replace it, but I'm not really sure what the market is like right now.

Can someone give me a quick list of the different models of Sound Blaster that Creative has on the market right now, along with their prices, and what the difference is between them?

Well, you can have a look at the Creative product page to have a glimpse of their current line. In my opinion, there are many non Creative soundcards out that are worth looking at. We can help you further ie give recommendation if you can state your budget.

I have the SB Live Digital and Audigy 1395 and both sound great, not a huge difference between the 2. There are also 7.1 channel cards out based on the Via Envy chipset that get pretty good reviews.
