I have a GeForce Fx 5600 XT video card and I tried downloading the latest drivers but it made my computer crash. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Did you uninstall the old graphics driver before trying to install the new one?

NOW! i got another problem. it says couldnt exec autoexec.cfg. i know if you install the patch it will fix it, but the server that i play on is on v 1.02 and i dont want to switch versions because i am used to 1.02. any help plzzzzz?

The first line of the error message mentions JK2MP v1.04. Since you don't have v1.04 installed, this could only refer to the server. Perhaps the server you use has updated to 1.04.

no i reinstalled it because it didnt have the server i played on so it doesnt work anymore which is funny because it did a while back

I am playing JK2 myself, and i know that it cant be played when using Pentium IV. Dont know why, but normally it ends up saying that u have 2 CPU's installed and then shut down the starter. But it seems there is sumthing wrong with ur version since, as Mailpup said, its showing as a 1.04 version. The couldnt exec autoexec.cfg error is shown on all startups, mine too, and doesnt really mean anything. Or atleast, i have no clue what it means, but doesnt affect my game. But did it work on ur P4 before? Oh and the OpenGL error is because u need newer drivers from Nvidia, incase it happens again.

And btw, what server do u play on?

hey i got it fixed. all i had to do was go in gamedata folder and right click on jk2mp.exe and select compatibility mode for windows 95. i play v1.02 and i play on the =LM=Outhouse. my name is =LM=LittlemaN

    Couldnt load OpenGL subsystem

    Just update ur driver.

Go to ur device manager. at Driver tab, click Update Driver. alternatively, u can go to the relevant URL of ur driver manufacturer n update.

I have another problem. When starting a new game, it displays an error saying "game is version 7, not 6". can anybody tell me wat the heck is that? ... n how to solve it?

    PLease. tHanks
