My PC crashed and I was told the hard drive was bad. I just bought a new hard drive and installed it. The computer turned on but didnt load correctly. I got a screen that said no keyboard detected for a few seconds then got a Gateway screen that had the option of hitting F1 for options for a few seconds then a black screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left hand corner. I turned it on and off a few times to see if that made a difference but it didn't help. The last time I turned it on, after a few minutes it turned itself off and now it won't turn on. Is there anything I can do or should I just give up and buy a new PC?
It also beeped every time I turned it on. I did not find a pattern to the beeps because there were so many of them.
