Steam games, odd start up problem

    Okay so whenever I start up a game like: Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Half-Life:Source, Left 4 Dead, ect. I can't see the Valve logo (I only hear the music), or the Source logo, this wouldn't be a problem really, if at the end of Episode 1 I could have seen the clip right after you beat the game. It started doing this like 2 weeks ago. before that everything loaded perfectly.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
