Sure it would, if you had asked me a year ago I would have said it makes no sense to release it for MAC! If steam supported linux (officialy) then it would encorage developers to make games for the OS and break MS dominence of the PC Operating System Market.

You go think that it'll be financially justifiable and I'll ill just go knowing you don't understand how investment works.

Steam is here to stay as it is listens to the customer and gives its best to make it come real. This what i feel gives steam an edge over their competitors.
