stop error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bsod

I wondered if anyone can help me with this one BSOD problem my Sony U71P ultraportable is having. I get this message at random once every so often and I can only think of three possible causes:

My hardware is overstressed (when I have a USB modem and a USB TV card running together the machine will BSOD within 30-60m). This cause might not be the case as once before I had a BSOD just after startup when XP was loading a few tray icons/programs.

My PC has faulty memory (although I have used Memtest and this program has reported no memory errors).

I have a dodgy driver somewhere (the main culprit being either the USB tv box{a Hauppage USB2 NOVA-T} or firmware/software such as that controlling my infrared remote).

As always, XP errors are a little difficult to understand and pin down, this is what was blurted out at me:

I have the minidump too, but I cant read it (it looks like gibberish in notepad) so I've reached a dead end (I've attached the file). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the problem? Thanks for any advice!
