ok i got my d-link g604t router with my adsl signup

all was good untill my gf wanted to get wireless for her laptop

i set up her laptop as per the usual standards (im using static ip for the network)

she cant connect to the net.. i can connect to her and her to me.. but not the net.....

it gets worse now any of my mates that come to lan (ie world of warcraft) cant connect to the net either....

    any suggestions?

On some routers you have to explicitly enable internet access for wireless clients.

If you are using static IP setup, double check that the IP, DNS and gateway addresses are correct and that the network mask is the same across the LAN.

sounds like the gateway address is wrong.
if you're using static DNS addresses, then be sure ALL users can ping the DNS.
if this fails, then the gateway is likely to be wrong.
