Ok here's my story......

I was originally running an Asus Motherboard with an Athlon xp 2800+, had 1024ddr, 80 gig Maxtor Hard drive, Nvidia 5900xt, Windows XP Home Edition, and 5 meg Cable Service. My FPS was average 120-150 :) really good to me :)

I upgraded to an MSI motherboard to support the new Athlon 64 3000+ chip, I hooked them all up then I also installed Windows XP Pro SP1, Same Ram Hard Drive, Graphics.. BAsically just changed the CPU and Motherboard.

At first I still had Great FPS 120-150, but then about 3 weeks later it dropped to 40-70 average. I did nothing different, but you can see the difference in the 2 links I'll show with my graphics card. ON second thought can't post links... If you wish to contact me to see them let me know....

Any Help?

Thanks in Advance....

Ack! Too much Mountain Dew in the system. Sorry about the previous post! I'm not sure, but I thought I read that using a 64-bit processor on certain 32-bit applications may cause some errors or slowdowns. Just a thought...
