Sudden loss of shares on Vista

    Not sure why, but all of a sudden I can no longer view any of my shared XP folders from other computers on my Vista laptop. It's not an LLTD issue, and I have been able to view them since I installed Vista over a year ago. Now, all of a sudden, the only CPU on the network is the Vista CPU itself.

    Any way to "force" Vista to renew its workgroup folder? I'm thinking of something along the lines of deleting the workgroup crawler in XP or anything like that.

    If i'm not wrong I think that you will need to reconfigure the Workgroup.
