SuperAntiSpyware problem

This morning I went to reinstall SuperAntiSpyware on my laptop so I went here https://www.techspot.com/downloads/2695-superantispyware.html & downloaded it, as I was trying to install it, I got a pop up saying something about unknown publisher, I X'd out, downloaded it to a flashdrive, still would not install. Finally went to the SAS website & got it, installed it. Its never happened before. Just letting whomever know.

We were one version behind, now updated, but both ours and the latest version from the developer's website trigger a Windows Defender warning, which is known to happen with some security software. Files are clean though, and as usual, everything goes through VirusTotal before we host any files.
