  1. Hey all,

    I am new here.

When someone sends me .swf files to view, I go to the Internet and they will not open for me (just a blank page). I have downloaded the flash and the shockwave. I have Windows XP Professional. Thanks for any help.

What internet browser are you using?

If you are using Firefox, you must go under Firefox options and configure it to open .swf files. You may also need to download a special plugin for Firefox.

Make sure you close any running programs including Internet Explorer and uninstall the Flash player and reboot, then reinstall it.
