Sylvania MP3 Player

Hello everyone!

I'm new to this site and desperately seeking some help so my 9 year old son quits thinking his mother is a technological twit!! I'm usually good on the computer, I'm on it all day at work... but when it comes to gizmos I'm a dummy.

I bought my son a 1 GB Sylvania Sport MP3 player, and I managed to get it powered up, but now I need to put music from the PC to the MP3 and I'm clueless. The instruction guide is NOT helpful. It says right click and copy music, left click and paste into a file. It says something about profiles and files and subfiles... but not HOW to make those files. I tried to copy & paste a song, but it just keeps saying 'ready to be copied'. Can anyone give me step-by-step for dummy help??

Don't mean to be rude, but did it come with the manual ?

yes, I've read the manual. All it says is to 'right click' and copy a song and 'left click' and paste the song to the MP3's file. But I can't seem to make it record on to the MP3, because I can't figure out how to make a file.
