System Alert Popup as well

This System Alert Popup is really really getting on my nerves. I'm not, by any means, new at computers, but this one's got me good. I can't seem to find the offending file anywhere. Since you guys seem to have the best experience, I'll post my HJT log.

This also makes it to my Safe Mode somehow. I didn't know it could. So much for "safe".

Okay, nevermind. After some reading I found out I had geplxss.dll in the system32. I used Killbox and it's all gone now.

Where was it coming from? What was starting up geplxss.dll?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Even though you`ve got rid of the geplxss.dll file, Your system is still infected with several nasties.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
