TechSpot 3.0

Oh thank goodness, that's much better! :)

Personal opinion:
Page 2+ is now half-height of the page1 featured image. Personally, I'd shrink page2 even further (2/3, or 3/4 of the current size), and make the page1 image 3/4 the current size at most.

Either way, looks good now on page2+. Cheers.

I was viewing this thread on my iPhone when Iclicked the title
TechSpot 3.0
& this picture below is what I saw instead.IMG_1633jpg.PNG

On your iPhone, you were browsing the forum and that appeared?
To clarify, I was reading the previous post from St1ckM4n on my iPhone when I clicked on TechSpot 3.0 when the I saw "Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occured".
Same thing just happened when I duplicated it on my iPhone just now.
"EDIT" Same thing happens when I viewed another thread .

I've heard a fair few reports of the mobile site having "too many redirects". I have Android and iOS if you want me to test anything specific.

Hm, I opened techspot.com fine, opened an article fine, and opened comments fine. When I clicked to 'jump to forum mode', a new tab opened and I got the 'too many redirects' problem.

Can't even open forums from the main page menu.

Ok, I just now opened TechSpot from my desktop icon & clicked the forums IMG_1648jpg.PNG
tab & again I got Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occured

<WARNING RANT>You have got to be kidding me. An orange and red(when hovering) notification bar is ugly as hell. And then no way to remove the bar, even when said link has been visited. TechSpot is hard at work, finding new ways of annoying visitors. So far I have been fairly receptive of the new site layout, this odd colored bar, however is highly unacceptable in my opinion. And the bar itself is unnecessary once the link has been visited. Which would at least make the color slightly more bearable, if it would remove itself after clicking the link. However no matter how many times the link is clicked, the bar will continue to contaminate the sites color scheme and take up valuable real-estate.</WARNING RANT>

oh-my-god.jpg

:D Don't worry, it will be gone in a day. It's just a temporary promo.

Next time it will have the "x" which I couldn't add on time for Computex (you know, content first). I also tried to make it good looking, don't tell me all that work went to waste.

Ok, will be patient although I still see it. When I moused over it just now, it did turn from orange to red. Cute cat. :)

Hmm; particularly obnoxious in an iPhone -- but then the banner stuff has never been sensitive
