Almost forget, Thankyou TechSpot for giving us these awesome competitions. I have been reading your news daily for a very long time. Only once you put up the TS Shopping thing (I can't really remember what its called) that I thought about actually signing up, because I guesed that I will might benefit from it in the future. I am really pleased with the services you give to us, free of cahrge, and I really apreciate the Reviews you give us. Now I am more connected with today's technology and I now know when I am buying something whether it is outdated in todays standards or not.

So, Thank you very much and I wish everyone the best of luck. (again, I voted for the iPad as previously mentioned...)

I voted for a 2 TB external drive. I could use one for storing our family's growing picture collection and doing regular backups.
P.S. I have been a regular (almost daily) visitor to Techspot, but today I decided to join and make my first official post. Hi Techspot members!

It was hard to choose, but I have made my decision. I can really go for a video card upgrade. So, my choice was GTX 460 naturally.

Heh, let the beggers come. I've never really been a fan of post based contests, all sorts of random people or first time users come to these and flood out the chances. Good luck to those who do eventually win, I don't expect myself to win (though of course would be a pleasant surprise), nor do I intend to increase my posting habits because of this.

edit: I guess I'll at least try, an SSD or GTX460 would be nice, I voted for the SSD.

The GTX, although I'd like the SSD too. But my graphix card is kinda outdated :/

Out of everything, I think that the iPad has the most appeal to everyone and will make them want to be active on this site, even though the iPad isn't quite as expensive as the CPU/Mobo/Mem combo.

I voted for "CPU/mobo/memory combo" - I still use a p4 so an upgrade is somewhat imminent.

I currently have a 5400 rpm hard drive in my laptop, I want an SSD. The time to boot Ubuntu would be so much shorter, but even with my current setup it still boots in 30 sec.

Budget Laptop got my vote. Time to replace that "optimized for Windows 98" junker i've been using for the last year.

2TB of additional storage space is very appealing as well as all of the other prizes. This is one very exciting contest. Thank you TechSpot for the fun that we had so far and for the wonderful days that are about to come. Keep it up guys!

Oops, I posted a Guest when it should have been as me.

Thanks for the opportunity to win a prize. I will enjoy any of the prizes though some more than others. My least favorite would be the iPad and external HD. Most favorite is the monitor and graphics card. Best of luck to everyone.

Count me in! The GTX and Ipad are the ones I'd like to get the least. The Ipad because it's lame...and the GTX 460 because I just bought a better card :(

    This is great.
My nephew just got a computer and my brother put in a 460 GTX into his rig, so his game machine can keep up with his dad's.

And he is only 7 years old!!

Kids these days got it good.
So, I'd like to build my son's computer with the 450 GTS, so that he can play along with his cousin and friends online. Thanks for the chance.

About to hit 3 years on my current desktop, in November. Definitely could use the CPU, mobo, and memory upgrade. Running a ton of VMs for school is pushing this a little bit too much. Count me in.
