Clever! Thanks! I use that link to edit my comments, correct misspellings and that sort of things.
It's done, now you have to manually select the checkbox to subscribe if you want to do so for a specific news story. Thanks for your feedback.
To those users that have put up a couple questions/concerns:
You can edit your subscriptions easily, the link is located while editing profile, the link for your convenience:
https://www.techspot.com/vb/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription
Here you can edit your subcriptions like so (next URL is an image)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v67/madboyv1/subscription.png
So you have numerous options for subscriptions.
Since the main site articles are linked to the forum representations located here, you can always edit the subscription by Clicking thread tools -> subscribe/unsubscribe to/from this page.
Likewise, if you write a post directly from the forums or are editing your posts like I am at the moment, you can update your subscription status for that thread as well.
