Nice looking car but would be a cold day in hell before I bought anything made by Apple.
Plus I can't afford a car at that price....so there's that.

You don't replace EV batteries. The fact that you don't even know this is pretty sad.
And you don't understand engines either! Oil is meant to lubricate cylinders and other parts of an engine. EVs don't have these. Any quick internet search will tell you that EVs dont need oil changes.

To be fair... EVs do eventually need oil changes. The Tesla drive unit has oil and an oil filter. It just doesn'ty need nearly as much oil, and doesn't need to be changed nearly as often.

I think you may have misunderstood what I said.
I'm saying that specifically apple car chargers don't exist. I have an EV, and I can say from experience that the current charger network is actually fantastic and that it's basically impossible to run out of charge.
Apple, being apple, would probably decide to use its own charging ports that are incompatible with everything else, and force users to depend exclusively on the apple stations that don't exist.
Apple loves to do things like that.

I get apple exclusivity. However, that will be suicide for them in the EV market especially if with their car costing $100K, at least as I see it. From a marketing standpoint, IMO, it would be an exercise in fatalistic apple hubris to implement an exclusive EV charging solution.

At this point, however, no one knows what apple will bring to market, so we can't say with any certainty.

Please read about the market, EVs cost around 30-40k for mainstream EVs. That's before tax credits (though the ***** gov is removing those from non US cars), and before the tens of thousands in savings.
Do some research before posting.

I could once again tell them about how in 13 months I have spent just over $130 on maintenance. 2 things I didn't even have to do yet but did just to get it out of the way (a maintenance diagnostic and I changed battery coolant). And that my next scheduled drivetrain related maintenance isn't due for another 76000 miles. They won't care.

If the only way murica knows to boost production is to block imports from other countries, that isn't a good thing. Boosting production is not an excuse to attack the economies of other countries. China has great manufacturing capabilities without blocking all imports.
Im sorry for not being murican enough. I know it's very unpatriotic of me to have an opinion that isnt the same as murican state propaganda. I should be a more patriotic murican and love my amazing murican society that has ABSOLUTELY no problems in it. I should spam cHinA bAd like everyone else. Silly me. This is apple, they wouldn't have a clue how to develop self driving (just like Tesla!), but would find a way to charge you for it. EVs are the future. Apple isn't. Apple cars would be available as fashion statements to the apple worshippers. If apple wanted to actually have a positive impact, they can invest in new, AFFORDABLE battery designs. This is the exact opposite of what apple would actually do. They would take cheap components, slap on an Apple logo, and charge 100000. People would definitely buy it. Apple will definitely make massive profits. And it wouldn't change the automotive industry a bit.

Some people believe we should ramp up production in the us. You may not agree that it's a good idea but policy on these issues is easily debated from both sides. Regardless, not wanting to buy a product if it's not made in the US is not an "attack on another countries economy". We buy what we want and for the reasons we want and we don't have to answer for it.
That said that was not even my point really. My point is that your attitude towards the US is ridiculous. Do you know of a perfect country with no issues? Any country? The honest answer is no....not even close. Did anyone say the US was perfect? No...
