The 5800X3D is neat, but 5600 is only US$120 right now. (Euro prices are also about the same excluding VAT.) That's one of the greatest CPU values ever my my reckoning. Too bad AM4 boards are drying up.

I could see the 5800x3D retaining its resale value better though. Might even fetch a premium one day.

Imagine if 5800x3d was on AM5 with DDR5 memory...

I don't expect too much of improvement... 5800x3d shines by removing memory bandwidth limitations using large cashe... So I think increase in ddr ram bandwidth will have lesser impact on overall performance ... Let's see
