Actually I am more interested in the Systems Design / Alogorithm Development, than the language used to implement it.

Your thoughts match those of so many.This place is special.As for advertising... I do not set policy here, but personally speaking I really do not think it is necessary.
Search engines guide those in need to us.Word of mouth works.ETC.
Remember, This place is almost 100% volunteer and advertisement implies an assured service, that would not be practical. Not to mention the costs.
Bottomline; Techspot has evolved to it's present state without advertisment, and I suspect it's growth will continue , unabated.
