A Slippery Slope is a logical fallacy that disproves an argument, not an argument in favor of one. A lot of Techno-Libertarians and "agents", who never took a class in Debate or Logic, apparently read one page off of Wikipedia or picked up the incorrect usage of the term off of Reddit and think that it's a valid counter-argument. It never was.After a decade of Slippery Slopes repeatedly being proven correct, calling them "fud" is incredibly tone deaf.
But again, I'm going to go back to comments I've made on other discussions here. There are "teams" of posters here, whose job it is to derail US-based threads and upvote each other. Americans, take note. The teams posting on this topic have derailed this thread, so that Americans can't have any real productive discussions about this specific story. This is what they do; it's their job. It's why they never get suspended and why this post will be memory-holed shortly.
