This is the message I get when my games freeze:
The instruction at "0x241f94b7" referenced memory at "0x01080cc0" could not be "read"

Ideas please!

What game are you playing and is it compatible with your pc.

Several games actually. Half Life 2 mainly but also MOH Pacific Assault (just won't start), Doom 3, Far Cry etc.

All the latest Graphics, sound ,mobo, DVD-CD Rom drivers and firmware.

Well MOH Pacific Assualt requires 512mb of free ram as far as I know and you only have 512mb of ram. When my computer is running it uses at lest 100mb of ram not even playing a game so you should upgraded your ram for sure.
