  1. Alright, I'll make this as simple as I can. I downloaded The Sims 2 and everyone should know by now what problem I am currently facing. I don't have a compatible graphics adapter for my DirectX 9.0c or i just don't have DirectX 9.0c, right? Well actually let me tell you what I have. I have all the proper requirements and it's still not working:

    DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
(Compatible Graphics Adapter) Name: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU

I have the DirectX and I have the compatible graphics adapter. My computer is also brand new. Not only that, I've checked and I've noticed that I have all the specific requirements it needs. It's still not working. What do you think I should do?

Okay nevermind I figured it out:

    1. Control Panel
    2. (Classic View) Dble-Click Display Icon
    3. Click Settings tab
    4. Click Advanced button
    5. Click Troubleshoot tab
    6. Hardware Acceleration: Full (not none or any less)
