The Sims Complete Collection character problem

When I'm playing the game, there are no characters whatsoever. There's just a picture of the them. I tried playing it on a different netbook and there are no problems with the game. What should I do?

Netbooks aren't meant to play video games. So there's your problem.

Netbooks have inbuilt graphics which are not always supported in games, which results in funny stuff like the pic.
