Tired of several things on Yahoo

In general I like Yahoo and their email, and the wide variety of thngs
available.

A couple of things have, however, proven to be annoying and I'd sure
like to switch them off if it's possible.

1) Every single time I open my email, a window pops up that says
Content is Unavailable and they're working on the problem and to
check back later. That stays up for a short time and then the mail
opens.

2) On the Yahoo home page, either when I'm signed in or not, just
moving the cursor over the Yahoo Sites menu causes whatever the
cursor is over to open automatically. I'd so very much rather just open
what I want by having to click on it. So many times I get all these
windows that open and get in the way of what I'm trying to look at.
Any way to change that to require a click to open a Yahoo site?

More is not always better.

Thanks

I agree - the yahoo popups are extremely annoying. I stopped supporting yahoo and their paid email when they became overtly supportive of the democratic party. They won't get another dime out of me.

Now that I sure wasn't aware of! I would have done the same.

I use the free email, I'm not sure I'd ever even heard of a paid Yahoo email.
I usually avoid paid services over the inter net unless there's a very
compelling reason.

The HTML pages are written to create those nasty behaviors. It would take a brilliant html filter to stop such actions;
ie probability of stopping this is 0.000000000001
