  1. I recently noticed that this type of virus was in my AVG Virus Vault. I believe the filename is prototype[1].js. Is this safe to delete out of my vault, or is it a file I actually need. Also, I have attached a HijackThis log in case there are any other problems. Thanks for any help!

    EDIT: I noticed that the previous location that the file was in was the Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files, so I removed the file, and everything seems to be working fine.

    Your system may be infected.

    Please go and read the Viruses/spyware/malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

    Post fresh HJT, ComboFix, and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above. Also post here the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
