Trying to decide on a power supply

  1. Hey,

I am currently trying to make a decision out of these 2 PSUs -

    Antec Truepower 2.0 550W - New

    or

PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool 510 XE - Used

Obviously each has its strengths and weaknesses, and if the PC PandC was brand new i'd definately get it, although its on Ebay second hand, pulled from someone elses system. Although I have heard great things about them, and how they are much better than Antecs. Both are the same price too.

    So, can anyone help me?

Go with the new Antec. The difference is the warranty or lack of one. Antec's is 3 years. Is there any on the used PC Power and Cooling?

No, infact there's none on both. But the PSUs are about 30 pounds cheaper on Ebay than on say, Ebuyer.

I have both Antec and PC Power and cooling PSU's in various machines and have never had a problem with any of them. as much as I love the PC Power&Cooling PSU's I would go for the new antec as opposed to the used PCP&C.
