Trying To Install Win XP Pro On A New HP dv9000

First of all if you don't want to integrate the Intel Express Bus for SATA HDisks drivers into the XP install iso then you need to buy the laptops that don't have centrino chips in them. If you buy an AMD chip machine then it is easier to install XP.

After installing XP audio and ethernet isn't working. I just need audio for now. Can someone post clear directions along with the direct links to drivers or attach files for drivers here.

I got the same problem. (Still) I can not see my hard drive by installing XP Home Edition.

I have an HP dv9847 and can not install XP, since it was born with Vista. Meanwhile, I installed Linux. (Ubuntu 8.10)

I've looked in my BIOS, but it is a versin F.23 so I can not set SATA'en.

Is there anyone who can help?
