  1. Hello guys,

I have ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. H81-PLUS mobo in my desktop PC. I looked the menus of the BIOS but didn't find some option for turning the system on by pressing a key on keyboard. Has my mobo such an option? If yes, which menu please?

    Thanks.

Press the space bar/mouse button for standby and the power button for hibernation.

In the BIOS, Advanced mode > 2.6.8 APM, page 2-31 of your user manual (English version) describes Power On by PS/2 keyboard.

I looked the BIOS up more deeply and could find that option. It was disabled by default so I enabled it. Now it works. Thank you guys :)

I'm glad it's fixed. If you ever need the user manual, go to the Asus website and look it up by the motherboard model. That's what I did.
