I am trying to connect to WoW server on my laptop. I cannot seem to log on the server I keep getting UNABLE TO CONNECT message. I can connect to the internet and I have tried everything on their troubleshooting page. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it!!

First thing I'd suggest is to do an nslookup on www.worldofwarcraft.com - you should get 12.129.217.201 back. If you don't then it's probably a DNS issue. If you do then I'd check http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.aspx?fn=wow-realm-status to see if there are any current issues being reported here by other users. I've found quite often that if I'm having an issue with the game so are many others and Blizzard will eventually rectify it.

Checking for the server/realm status is the best thing to do if you don't have problems connecting to other sites or online services:
