Unable to find old emails after index/rebuild in Outlook 2010

Hi support,

Am still unable to retrieve my old emails after I rebuild it.

What could be the problem to this? How do I solve this?

No its not a web based email.

What I wanted was to search an email. Can't remember the subject of the email so I search by the name of the sender. No results found.

Then I rebuild my Index. The rebuild completed after 3 days straight and did a search again but unable to find it under any of my folders in Outlook 2010.

...so ya that's all.

Ok, Outlook.com & hotmail are one in the same. MS wants users to go to outlook.com but I still log into mine as hotmail. You might try this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook-help

The email is a company email.
