Unacessable partition

ive got a maxtor 250gig partitioned off into 5 chunks.
but anytime i try and access the forth partition i crashes to desktop,
all the other partions run fine its only the one thats given me a head ak.
any one got any ideas?

You need to fill in your profile so we can see what you are using. If you are using XP then right click on "my computer" and select manage, storage, then disk management(local). Have a look there to see it the partition is healthy and the correct type.

sry about that ya its xp pro and its been formated ill have to get back on that sugjestion thought seeing as its my fater in laws pc
