I've gotta say Andrew gets my vote just for insisting on keeping that sweet Wave case! Also it just seems such a shame to run with a Coffee Lake locked CPU on such an expensive mobo. Just feels like it defeats the purpose of the whole series.

That said, David needs to rethink his Antec 900 layout, it can be done much, much better:

I'll admit this was with a modular PSU, but it has tons of room to stuff cables if they're neatly bundled and he hasn't got six HDD's in there. This machine I sold to a coworker, and it's an FX8350 Black Edition with an HD 6970.

Nahh, I'll just get rid of the case, it's a dust magnet anyway, why do you think I called it the Dyson Anyway, you'll find that the version you had was the Antec 900 V2, I have the V1 with no cable routing.

Mine wasn't a 900 actually, it was the 300 V1. Mostly I just focused on stuffing cables behind things and zip ties. This was my original build before rebuilding it for the coworker, so believe me, it can be better! I just had to make it so.

Either way, I hate my case, it's the worst for storage and dust, plenty of room if the hard drives weren't in the way, also, the fans are in hard to access cages that are virtually impossible to clean, hence why they appear dusty at the front, I've tried to access the fans to clean them, but it started to feel a little flimsy after fiddling with it, so I just left it alone, I get the compressed air on it every 3 months and unscrew all the cages to give it a good cleaning with my soft paintbrush, I got my eye on a Fractal Design R4 for my new Ryzen CPU I'll be getting at the end of the month (got to upgrade to run that rainbow 6 siege free game code I'll be getting lol)

I would love to see some X3 and x4 phenoms being upgraded,it would be a huge upgrade. My old phenom can't do it anymore, especially in games.
