Upgrading from LGA1155 Motherboard

Hi,

Last night I had a power outtage at home which had ended up killing my old i5-3470 LGA1155 board (R.I.P.).

I took my rig to a technician earlier and he did mention that everything was working well except the motherboard and that he was unable to test the processor because they did not have any stock of LGA1155 boards and it is not being manufactured anymore.

The thing is that I need my rig to work as soon as possible for work purposes as well. I'm quite outdated with how parts have improved since the last time I made my rig back in 2013 (also got help with building here - thanks a lot folks). Hoping that someone could help me with this once again.

My ideal budget is around $300 which is around 15,000 php (Philippine Peso). I have gathered some pricelists from shops and am posting their links here as most of the stuff I see available on US shops usually does not exist in my country.

I still gotta call these shops for item availability and possibly some of the items are not in stock anymore or have changed prices.

I believe upgrading the board requires me to get a new processor and memory which is a shame but can't be helped. Anyway just for more info, here is what my current (half dead) build is:

  • MSI H77MA-G43 INTEL H77 Crossfire
  • Intel Core i5-3470 LGA1155
  • G.Skill RipJaws X (dual) 2x4gb ddr3 1600 CL9 (F3 12800CL9D 8GBXL)
  • HIS HD 7850 1gb/256bit ddr5
  • Corsair VS 650watts (VS650)
The rig will be used for gaming (none of the heavy graphics ones) and work. Not going to overclock it either.

Any opinions would be much appreciated. Planning on already hunting for parts as soon as tomorrow and am going to see how that will go. Thanks everyone in advance.
