  1. I have two computers that I would like to upgrade with winXP OS. However, one has win98 and the other win2000. I have inserted the upgrade version of the XP on the cd rom and reboot it from it, I've tried it on both computers. It did not work, it went back to its own OS. What to do to make the upgrade? Please, advice.

Go into bios, usually by pressing f2 or delete, and then select to boot from cd.
    See how here.

Then it will ask you to press any key to boot from cd, just press any like it says.

You will then be presented with a blue screen. Press f8 to agree to the license and follow the on screen prompts from there.

    Regards Jase :)
