USB Flash drive

Hello!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this (feel free to shift it if it's not!!)

I've got a 64mb USB Flash Drive that has an Autorun program that cannot be deleted. It says READ ONLY but it cannot be changed. I want to be able to store things on the drive but can't get rid of what's on there at the moment.. Any help is gratefully recieved!!! :grinthumb:

Hi owensmum.Welcome to Techspot.

Try formatting the drive.

Check the read only switch on the side,is in the correct position.

The flash drive shows as two different things E:autoplay and F:removable disk

Ive tried formatting but it doesnt get rid of the E:Autoplay bit.. there's no switches on it either.. It just says Access Denied if I try to change the Read Only box.
