usb or desktop card

I'm going to go wireless with my family computer and was just wondering what is better, a USB adapter or a wireless desktop card. So if anyone could tell me which i should get it would be very helpful. I do know a lot about networking but i haven't really done any wireless so I'm kinda stumped on this one.

Card is almost always the better choice. Just take a look at reviews for USB ones on newegg, its pretty rare to find one that works decently.

cards are more reliable.they also have more logical ports than usb.they can be tweak for faster speed unlike usb.so choose.R
