  1. Dont no if anyone can help. I have a 4gig memory stick (well did have) that when i plug it in, all it says in properties is that the size of the memory is 0 bytes, used 0 bytes, free 0 bytes. I've tried to format it, but i get a message to insert disk  I really haven't got a clue whats going on. Im running XP home, it worked fine for about two weeks, then this. Any advice would be great.

USB flash drives are high failure items. Did you see if the manufacture has a web site. If the manufacturer is known, they will have USB flash drive setup tools.
If not, try some of the biggies like San Disk, Corsair, Kingston, Memorex setup or reformat drives.
Also, try formatting the drive in another computer.
